About

The Ambient Soundbath Podcast was created by Matt Borghi, has been online since 2012 and has given tens-of-thousands of listeners a break from daily anxiety. The Ambient Soundbath can be used for sleep, relaxation, meditation, yoga and any activity where relaxation is key. The Ambient Soundbath Podcast and associated works are designed to create a relaxing space for thinking and being. created the Ambient Soundbath as a way to share music for relaxation and to reduce anxiety. Matt learned, firsthand, of the healing and restorative powers of music at an early age.

Matt was struck with a rare heart condition when he was 18 and with a resting heart rate of 140 BPMs, Matt was given 9 months to live, at which point his heart would wear out. His options were to find a heart donor or hope for a miracle. Faced with this kind of existential crisis and no real way to relax and gain perspective, Matt began meditating: Breathing deeply while listening to music. These relaxation methods that Matt was trying worked better than any medication he was given during this time. Fortunately, an experimental heart surgery saved Matt’s life, but his path had been set: He would dedicate himself to making restful music to help people relax and reduce their anxiety.

  1. Hi Matt
Tried reaching out via your contact form but for some reason, on both the Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers the contact form seems broken. I am hoping to send you some links of my music that I think works well for the Ambient Soundbath podcast. Thanks and be safe and be well.

    • Sorry, just seeing your comment… A security plug-in was blocking a lot of folks, unbeknownst to me. I’ve fixed that. It should work now. Please let me know if it does not. Thank you! – matt
